This makes it possible to see which choice improves rewards and which only makes the run slower. A setup you clear consistently will usually outperform a more ambitious one that causes deaths or lengthy resets.

Once a route proves reliable, keep its basic structure and adjust it gradually. Expedition is now a lasting part of PoE 2, so the value is not limited to a single event or short farming window.
